Today, Americans got to exercise the greatest freedom of our Democracy, the right to vote. Many have laid down their lives to protect and preserve this freedom and it should not be taken for granted. As there will be countless discussions over the coming days and weeks on the outcome of this election, lets keep the discussions on the outcome, not people. No person should have to endure any shame or condemnation on who or why they voted the way they did. This is an individual choice and the core of our American Democracy. Let’s keep individual respect and dignity at the forefront of any political discussions.
